I help founders ship AI products that actually feel like products.
Senior product leader. Process engineer. Agentic AI builder. 15+ years shipping.
How I help
Three ways I work with founders and operators today.
Rapid prototyping
I take a fuzzy idea and turn it into a working product in weeks, not quarters. You get something real to put in front of customers, investors, or your team. For founders who need to validate fast and stop arguing in slides.
Agentic platform builds
I design and ship production agentic systems on a boilerplate I built and battle-test on every contract. Memory, planning, multi-agent orchestration, evals, self-healing pipelines. For companies betting on AI as the product, not a feature.
AI for operations and process
I bring process engineering rigor to AI automation. Find the bottleneck, model the failure modes, build the agent that fixes it. For operators who want fewer slides and more output.
Things I've shipped
Agentic Boilerplate In production
A domain-neutral foundation I built and refine every week. Core engine and domain cartridge stay separate. Skills, agents, and workflows live in markdown. It is not a framework I read about. It is what I ship on.
Career AI Bot Launched
The all-in-one AI career companion. Chrome extension for tracking jobs, AI cover letters, and interview prep.
Lovable Resume Launched
The open resume builder. Create beautiful, ATS-ready resumes without signing up and save them locally.
AutoVids in Beta
AI YouTube channel builder. Idea to published video in minutes, with consistent characters.
AutoFeedback in Alpha
AI-powered feedback workflows. Collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback at scale.
How I work
Speed without rigor is just expensive demos. Rigor without speed is a slide deck. I do both.
Every project I take on rides on the same foundation: an agentic boilerplate I built and refine every week. The generic infrastructure stays separate from the domain logic, so new verticals ship in days, not months. Skills, agents, and workflows live in markdown files. Context loads only when it's needed.
If you have been burned by AI consultants who could demo but not deploy, you will recognize the difference quickly.
A few principles I will not bend on:
- Ship something real every week. No 12-week roadmaps before the first user touches anything.
- Process before prompt. I model the failure modes first, then design the agent that prevents them.
- Domain expertise is the moat. Code is commodity. What sticks is the encoded judgment: the playbooks, workflows, and taste behind the agent.
- Boring foundations, fast iteration. The infrastructure should be stable and predictable so the user-facing product can change weekly.
About
Ricky Ng
I have spent 15+ years leading product at companies like PagerDuty, Forma.ai, MaintainX, and Caseware. Data platforms, analytics, enterprise SaaS. I have shipped roadmaps, scaled teams, and owned outcomes that moved real revenue.
Before product, I was an industrial engineer. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Masters in Management Analytics from Queen's Smith School of Business. I cut my teeth running process improvement projects that delivered $100M+ in annual savings at Loblaw and rebuilt backroom operations across Shoppers Drug Mart stores.
Now I build agentic AI systems. I have shipped careeraibot.com and lovableresume.app, and I take on contracts with founders who need someone who can think in product, design in process, and ship in code.
That combination is rare. Most AI consultants are engineers without product taste, or product folks who do not actually build. I am both, and I have the proof.
Let's build something
